The Apex Consulting Group (Apex) is a specialist management consulting firm. We are currently seeking a Business Mentors to assist our Consulting Teams, Business Development Division and Project Administration and Coordination Team. This position is located in our project office in Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta.
Business Mentor

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for executing a wide variety of tasks in consulting projects or development, including workshops, training material development, training tools development (video, simulation, learning process approach, etc)
• Responsible for improving any relevant knowledge or skill to stay updated in the role of a Mentor (including self-learning, searching for information, staying up to date with relevant research etc.)
• Developing product innovation, including training scheme for clients
• Providing mentoring and technical guidance to other mentor or auditors, senior level officers, office staff, sales and marketing staff related to audit method and technical skills
• Assist Project Director in reviewing technical complaints and/or potential problems, investigate and analyse the root causes and propose corrective and preventive measures
• Preparation of reports for Project Director as requested, in a timely manner and other tasks as requested by the Project Director.

Requirements:

• Knowledge & Personal characteristics:
• Your strength of character will be tested as you interface and negotiate with our business partners. You will need to be highly articulate and absolutely fluent in English and Bahasa.
• You will adopt a very hands-on approach to business consulting. We obviously expect you to be a focused and highly motivated person with powerful communication skills.
• Your daily duties will require you to have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, diligent whilst able to work under pressure.
• Must have the knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, with good time management skills
• We are looking for a fast learner, with solid people skills, a team player who is mature and responsible, you must be comfortable with motivating yourself and fellow staff as well as representatives of clients. Must be able to work independently without instructions or direct and constant supervision
• Open minded to continuous improvement
• Confident and willing to contribute with ideas and recommendations

Qualification & Competences:

• More than 10 years experience in mentoring
• Prior experience working with an International Consultancy (Preferred)
• Good command of English, both written and verbal
• A Master's Degree/Post Graduate Degree in business, management, or other related education from a reputable university
• Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Project, Adobe Photoshop, PowerPoint).
