Application Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Provide proffesional services in pre-sales & post-sales technical support, sales presentation, product demonstration and technical training.
• Support project team in defining product & application solutions for customers and maintain product quality/technical solutions data base.
• Participate in new tool evaluations and provide methodology consultation on CAD design flow and design methodologies
Requirement:
• Degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electronic Engineering or diploma holders with 3 years of strong experience in the area of Embedded Computer system development.
• Good knowledge of PC hardware, VB, VC, C/C++ Programming, Windows CE, CE NET, Embedded XP, Linux and other embedded operating systems.
• Preference given to those who have worked on projects relating to embedded system development and experience in building image files, embedded codes and diagnostic testing of embedded boards.
• Preference given to those with in depth knowledge and broad experience on software engineering in factory automation, semiconductor industry or in PC-based automation application.
Requirements :
• Enthusiastic in learning new technology with good problem solving skill and strong commitment to customer service
• Independent, proactive, resourceful and good team player
• Good presentation & communication skill and bilingual in English and Mandarin
• Energetic and be able to work on right schedules

- The incumbent will provide pre-sales and technical support for the development, application and installation of products to meet customer requirements and specifications.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide pre-sales and technical support to customers and distributors; Review of project specification, valve / material selection and actuator sizing; Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions Respond and provide information on product range, prices and generate quotations in accordance with specifications/customer requirements. Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications Order review and clarifications Update of quote status in the SAP system
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical /Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 1 - 2 years experience of relevant work experience
- Candidates with prior work experience in Flow Control Industry will be highly considered
- Familiarity with SAP system will be an added advantage
- Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge may also be considered
Ability to work in a fast pace environment, multi-task and a strong team player
